✨ Lucy’s dress journey was nothing short of a miracle ✨
When she came to us just weeks before her wedding, her dream dress no longer fit — cue full panic, tears, and a very emotional day. With a recent move and the wedding fast approaching, she hadn’t tried it on in a while… and when she finally did, it was nowhere close to zipping…and with the wedding around the corner, every second mattered.
But here’s what we know at RcustomBridal: it’s never too late when you’ve got a little faith and a lot of magic & talent. 💫
Lucy's gown had intricate lace detailing and required significant structural changes. We didn’t just let out a seam or two — we had to completely restructure and reimagine her dress from the inside out. Lace patterns carefully matched and reconstructed and extra inches created where there were none.
At one point, Lucy and her mom left for 2 hours while we worked non-stop, and came back that same day for the next fitting phase. We were on a mission!!
And we did it. Her dress fit like a glove, and Lucy walked down the aisle in something even more stunning than she imagined. 🥹💍 You’d never know the journey it had taken to get there.
