💜💚💛I just want to say with all the "changes" with the Mardi Gras parades y'all really making a girl work for her money. 😮‍💨 With the route switches, new rules, invitation only/not invitation only, mandatory playlist, double registration fees, no refundable deposit if you don't live here and can't get in the parade, etc etc etc...I'm exhausted. I've had 76 calls in the past 24 hours. I don't have an opinion on any of the changes just simply stating the fact that I went from calm, cool, and collected to 😵‍💫CRAZY TRAIN in about 2.4 seconds.

I have about a million floats available for Carencro. Side note: I usually sell out for Carencro...at minimum I have 15 floats rolling in that parade. To date I've had cancellations on all of Carencro with the exception of ONE float. I would be inclined to think maybe I did something wrong but this simply isn't the case considering I've spoken to every one of my customers and I know exactly why they backed out. Regardless of why the rules changed, (again I'm not here to debate rule changes I'm sure the powers that be have their reasons) I know my customers aren't happy with it and unfortunately sometimes that's the price small businesses have to pay. It's totally out of my control and all I can do is hope everyone can be on the same page next year. 🤞🏼
