We have a great lineup of musical artists for the upcoming TN Trails and Tunes Festival, with If Birds Could Fly taking the stage at noon to kick off the day's entertainment.

If Birds Could Fly is a band for people that like real country music. They are not a product of the over produced contemporary country scene. Instead, they represent the kind of soul-driven authentic country music that drives a genre. The lead vocals, provided by Brittany Carter, are in a class all of their own. Their music presents a mixture of classic country sounds and top-of-the-class female lead vocals.

Unicoi County is an important destination for hikers along the Appalachian Trail, where they can rest, recharge, and replenish themselves. More than 50 miles of the famed 2,190-mile trail are in the county. It is also home to premier whitewater rafting, camping, mountain biking, hunting, and fishing.

The Tennessee Trails and Tunes Festival is excited to announce Nashville singer and songwriter Tim Dugger will headline the inaugural TN Trails and Tunes Festival on Saturday, May 4.

Dugger is a well-known staple in the tri-cities area, playing live at Bristol Motor Speedway, as well as other local venues. His singles such as "Heart of a Small Town" and "You're Gonna Love Me" can be heard on local country radio.

Get ready for a day of music, outdoor adventure, and local culture as we introduce the TN Trails and Tunes Festival in downtown Erwin, TN! The festival will showcase the great outdoors and Tennessee’s music heritage, with a mix of festival flair!

Experience thrilling adventure at “The Great Outdoors on Main Street” area featuring a mountain bike adventure track, ax throwing, rock climbing wall, USA Raft demo pool, Blue Ridge Paddling fly fishing, one wheel activities, and Genesis Animal Sanctuary.

Sing along to your favorite tunes and dance like no one is watching as we bring together a music lineup featuring local bands leading up to a headlining performance by Nashville singer/songwriter Tim Dugger. Known on country radio for his songs “You’re Gonna Love Me” and “Heart of a Small Town”, Dugger's country music roots run deep. The Alabama native developed a passion for songwriting as he spent summers jamming with bluegrass pickers at his local music store. Dugger now performs at festivals and venues across the country, including being a NASCAR favorite, performing at several NASCAR tracks.

And of course, no festival would be complete without a culinary array of cuisine. From savory BBQ to sweet treats, the festival will showcase the flavors of Appalachia.
To round out the festival offerings, numerous craft, music and outdoor vendors will be setup. A large Kids Zone featuring a petting zoo, inflatable bounce-houses and games, kids ax throwing, kids archery and the Erwin Utilities dig tent will be included as well.
