In Latinx culture you will often hear daughters, young girls, and eventually the same young ones turned women referred to as mijita, hija, and in Northern New Mexico, mi hita. This is a term of endearment, a phrase of love, it is a calling of cherish.
In Spanish the direct translation of the word hito means milestone. We played on this.
And so, Mi Hita is a company cherishing the milestones along the female journey of life.
Mi Hita celebrates the journey through womanhood beginning with menarche through motherhood (and eventually menopause).
Mi Hita offers education, gatherings, photography, doula support, products, and a collective of of experts, providers, knowledge sharers, and wisdom keepers.
Like a young girl on her own journey through womanhood, Mi Hita is on a journey, growing and evolving each day. Thank you for being a part of this journey🌻
