As we put 2023 in our rear view mirror, and are looking forward to 2024, it raises the questions:
1) what are somethings you enjoyed or did not like about this year's Hayrides?
2) what changes, if any, would you like to see for next year?
We have a couple things in the works, but we would love you ideas as well!

Friends- The record temperatures mixed with the amount of rain has left our show grounds in a messy, muddy state. There simply isn't anyway we can offer Hayrides this weekend.
Trust me when I say it, we would all rather be there sharing in the joy of the Hayrides and the holiday season than not.

To those with Seize the deal or radio auction passes- We apologize for the inconvenience this presents and we will accept these passes at either our 2024 August Harvest Show or at the 2024 Hayrides.

To the guests who made it out the first 2 weekends, thank you! Your support means the world to us, and seeing so many happy faces enjoying what we work so hard to put on makes it all worth it!

To our sponsors, thank you so much! We literally could not do this even without your support! You folks make this event happen in so many ways!

To all the volunteers who give so selflessly, in both time and effort, you truly are the best group of people anyone could ask for. Thank you for working so hard to provide these special nights for so many people.

FOLKS- BIG NEWS!
After a lot of consideration, we have decided to remain closed for the entire weekend due to the wet and slippery conditions and no signs of that changing.
~BUT~
We have an amazing group of volunteers that aren’t ready to say goodbye yet for the year. They have all come together and decided to open for NEW YEARS HAYRIDES! (Friday and Saturday only)

Weather permitting… we plan on having the hayrides as they were intended to be this weekend… with the exception of Santa, as he will be back in the North Pole!

I never thought we would get rained out in December, but here we are. Conditions have only gotten worse on the grounds overnight and there isn't anyway we can be open. The parking lot, parts of the trail, and many areas of the grounds are under water. It's a mess, and it's still raining. We will update about tomorrow, with tempered hope it dries up enough to be open then. Stay tuned for updates, we apologize for having to close again, and hope you all understand.

ATTENTION:
We will be CLOSED tonight.
We have never encountered this much rain this late into December and the grounds are too wet and muddy to safely have guests walking around or provide hayrides without getting stuck in mud.

We apologize for this inconvenience, we will keep our eyes on things overnight and post tomorrow if we will be able to open.

A little secret we've been keeping since we were not sure the weather would allow it, but since old man winter is cooperating, we added a small pleasure ice rink this year! It's been a fan favorite for kids all weekend! Experience this and more tonight and the next two weekends!

Today is the last day for this classic Christmas meal (all this for $8.50 🤯 and it was sooooo good!)
Next weekend we will be featuring another classic Christmas meal, Ham with au gratin potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a roll.
We will also have beef stew with a dinner roll available as well, along with our regular menu.

Here is our big announcement: We have a wishing penguin!!

Marcia called me Wednesday evening and told me how she saw on our page we did not have a penguin. A father asked if we did, as it was his sons favorite part, and at that time we did not. Marcia read that post and decided to give us her last wishing penguin, "so that little boy wouldn't be disappointed" when they came to our Hayrides.
Thank you so much Marcia, you truly have a heart of gold, we are so honored you entrusted us to help continue your sprit of the lights.
