Cars & Coffee continued in fine fashion last Sunday. OhSoSaucy put together a really nice breakfast for our drivers and visitors. Once again…how do we single out a car amongst an amazing array of automotive wonderment? This week, we’ve chosen Chris Rice’s 1951 Chrysler Imperial. What a doll! Thank you Chris for sharing such a prized family possession with us. We have a Tres Hombres Mountain & Valley Motor Club T-shirt for you. Congratulations.

We will host Cars & Coffee again tomorrow and every Sunday into October. Columbus Day weekend is our goal if the weather allows “Sunday Drives” until then.

We had another great Cars & Coffee on Sunday. Thank you car owners for keeping it going strong. We had music on the porch and it didn’t rain! Last week I misspelled Jason Joslyn’s name. Sorry Jason. Picking a car this week was very challenging. They were all superstars. We had almost 60 years of Corvette representation! And, they were remarkable. C10 and K10 short bed stepsides. Lenny’s F6 and a perfect ‘59 Imperial. Many others… “The Car Of The Day” this week is Junior Montville’s 1970 Ford Falcon with a 429ci. You don’t see these very often. Thank you Junior for bringing it out. We’ve got a Mountain and Valley Motor Club t-shirt here for you as a prize. What a car!

A little bit on “Car Of The Day”…although all of the cars are worthy of recognition and some shine more than others, we pick a car, long after they are gone that resonates. It’s about more than the car. There’s an excitement that comes with driving a car to a “show”, meeting other car people and a camaraderie that runs deep. An unhindered acceptance. Stories, advice, trouble shooting, how too’s and good coffee.
Join us every Sunday 8-10am No car required.
