After being hacked and locked out I'm so happy to report we are recovered and back!

❤️For almost 10 years 🥹 we have offered outdoor Back to School Photos as a way to document students with a school picture that families actually WANT to display …(rather than just stuffing them in a drawer, never to see the light of day! ... 🥴)

After some uncertainty and thinking it wasn’t something we were going to be able to offer this year, we are excited to share our Back to School Photos are in fact a GO!

Join us FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th @ 3-5pm at the Keri Jeanne Photography Studio located right here in Essex, MA. – (just next door to the elementary school!

All ages are welcome – Preschool to high school!

This is a first come first serve basis so no need to worry about time slots!

This includes (1) digital file, printable to 8x10 emailed directly to you for just $40. Once you receive the digital file you can print it and share it as much as you’d like!

Lastly – YES this IS open to surrounding local communities! Feel free to share this post with local friends even outside of Essex!

What do you do when some of your absolute favorite humans on the planet are moving to HAWAII for the adventure of a lifetime? ✨🌸

Duh, you have a photo shoot just a few days before they leave, of course! While every photoshoot is meaningful to me, and it is not lost on me the gift I get to give families in documenting their memories, but this session was EXTRA special, as they are my own family!🥹

Now more than ever, I’m acutely aware just how meaningful having updated photos are - as in how it feels in my own personal life. And because of that I can’t help but feel like I want a few more families to have this very feeling..

Because of that, I’ve looked at the availability for the rest of the year and managed to find one, maybe, two openings to squeeeeeeze in just a couple more sessions this year - One opening is at the end of the summer and maayyyyybe a second one in the fall.

Hard to believe our 2024 seniors graduate in just a few weeks! INCLUDING MY OWN! 🥹 But, for all you juniors (and parents of Juniors!) - That means it's time for YOU to shine!

We have only a very few amount of summer and fall openings remaining.. (3) in fact!

If you know you want your senior photos to be towards the end of summer (*After spending a few months at the beach!) OR if you're thinking of scheduling it during fall foliage here in New England - we highly encourage you to book it now before things are full!

Just last night Facebook memories popped up with one of my all time favorite memories of my own kids…

It’s a video of my daughter and my son and while I’ve seen it 1000 times, when I saw it last night it was different. Facebook reminded me it was 14 years ago… FOURTEEN.

In my head it genuinely feels like just yesterday, but the facts don’t lie - it was 1-4- years ago 🥹.. what occurred to me (once again) was a startling truth…

We think we will remember it all, but we don’t.

We think it will always feel like whatever moment we’re in, but it doesn’t.

Funny how life works like that, right?

I don’t know about you but looking at Facebook memories, through the camera roll on my phone, or glancing at the pictures on the wall, I am always left feeling like I wish I documented more moments and memories.. especially with my own son graduating high school in a few weeks…

By taking these photos it’s like planting a seed to time travel in the future. Every day that passes is another day we could come back and remember …

We have just 2 openings left for family photography sessions to do just that. No need to decide on the date right this minute, but signing up secures you for one of the openings and your memories will be create! You will have moments this year to look back on.. (that includes you being in them, not just the one taking them all the time! I see you parents!)

Ever noticed how photos can whisk you back to the past? They're like time machines that let us relive our happiest times or remember people we miss dearly. That's why I've spent over 17 years helping families document those precious memories.

Well folks, grab your tissues and your fun hats because we're taking a trip down memory lane – and trust me, it's a rollercoaster of emotions! 🎢

As I sit here, surrounded by college brochures and acceptance letters (fingers crossed!), I can’t help but feel the truth in the age old cliche of time going too fast.. ⏳

Just the other day, it felt like I was wiping away tears as my little dude took his first bouncing steps into kindergarten, backpack practically swallowing him whole! (see below!) And now? Now he's on the brink of flying the coop and heading off to college.
I mean, where did the time go? Did it sneak out for coffee and never come back? 😫

But let me tell you, amidst the chaos of campus tours, and college essays, there's one thing that's keeping me grounded – the power of photography to freeze these priceless moments in time.

While I can't slow down the hands of the clock (trust me, I've tried), I can capture the essence of this wild ride – from crayon scribbles to calculus exams, and everything in between!
After 17 years of doing this for both myself and so many amazing local families - the honor and privilege of being a memory keeper is not lost on me… 🥹

So, if you're like me, sitting here with a box of tissues and a heart full of memories, let's make some magic happen for you in 2024. Let's capture the laughter, the tears, and the downright ridiculous moments that make up the tapestry of family life. Because while the days may be long, and the years may fly by faster than a toddler on a sugar high, the memories we create together? They're forever. 💜
