URGENT PSA-- I, John, am writing this myself. This is not a friend's cousin's sister situation. Be on alert for scam call from PECO (or your local utility provider). I get scam calls all the time but THIS was convincing. They told me that my autopay was going to an old account number and that the new account number shows 3-months past due and that I would have power shut off in 3 days. While on call I looked online that payments WERE going through. Again they said that the payments were not reflected on the new account. I told them I would sue them if they cut power, hung up and called PECO directly. All is current. No threat of service being cut. I can't imagine how many, especially elderly, would have fallen for this. PLEASE copy, paste and spread the word about this, especially older relatives. Stay Blessed!
