💐Farmer Rechelle here 👩🏼🌾. We have a lot of new followers, so I thought I’d spend a sec to introduce myself. Born and raised in Eastern Oregon, my family were small farmers growing a variety of crops, but our specialty was potatoes. As a farmer’s daughter - I learned to drive ten wheeler potato truck among sooo many jobs that would earn my way to college at OSU. I earned my BS’ in Business and Health Care Mgmt while also getting my MBA. I worked in the business side of health care for 20 year, before handing my stilettos to my daughter and wearing my crocs every day! My husband and I grow Christmas trees and specialty cut flowers in Estacada, OR and we absolutely love our community!

This flower farmer is running out of steam, so you showing up every weekend and throughout the week with your custom orders keeps me pushing thru to Frostmas! Running that’s what I’ve been doing alllll day. Between being mom, daughter, grand-daughter, business owner, farmer, keeps everything alive around here person…. I’ve been wearing allllll the hats today. I have also been busy building some beautiful and unique bouquets! There’s some cool flowers + foliage in this weekend’s roadside stand collection.

Oh Matt needs a hug, but so do I because I hear about alllll my “stuff” daily. FBFF workshop is a TOP priority this winter after 🎄tree harvest. Then I’m officially kicked out of the house 🤷🏼♀️. If you are a flower farmer, you totally know. It’s why I started the @localflowerspodcast to have a circle of friends I could cope with and That totally get it lol!!

If your #christmastree could talk. What would it say? Well I imagine it would tell you about how much our family loved it. That I watched it grow with my own children. That it offered a safe place for all the forest critters. That it’s landscape brought peace to all those who drove by. Finally, it would give you thanks for bringing it into your home and allowing it to be part of soooo much joy.
