Nope I’m not cooking up hazelnut brownies 🤣 I’m making me some soil blocks! This starts the seed sowing for me. It’s my fav part of flower farming. I geek out on starting things from seed. I’ve learned soooo much over the last 4 yrs on what makes the perfect mix,conditions, seed preferences, succession planting and so much more. This is how I start thousands++++ of seeds without a greenhouse while maximizing my resources and being the most efficient for MY operation. These grape vines are all I have left of my Grandma. I treasure the fruit they bring each season and I’ve been making wreaths from the vines for some fun projects. I often say these are more than just flowers to me, and I’m reminded this evening of that sentiment. I hope when you receive my products they give you a moment of pause… to smell the flowers… to recall a memory while forming a new one… and to appreciate the beauty of what Mother Nature and I brought you 💚

The headlights came on as I shoveled the final bit of compost on the last bed! I’ve been busting my butt to get the field all put to bed for winter…. AND NOW it can snow! There’s still work to be done but this was the biggest job I needed done asap and now I’ll be taking some ibuprofen!
