Just a Reminder and for information….

Customer had a burn pile approximately 2 weeks ago going…. Customer let the pile burn down then covered it with dirt. Jump to this weekend, customer rented our mini hoe to do some more work and stacked brush in the same spot he had his burn pile going 2 wks prior.. Parked machine close to the brush pile.. went to dinner around 7ish came home around 9ish all good!
Was woken to popping noises around Midnight looked out and brush pile and Machine had caught fire .. Estacada Fire was called and got fire under control…

In No way is this story told to ridicule the customer, this story is being told to learn and remember that fire can smolder and go un detected for a long time, luckily no one was hurt and it could have been way worse…. Remember, even if you think it’s out, triple check and make sure your pile is clear of any types of fuel …
