The purchase of the Venue on North Vine is just the latest example of our commitment to giving back to our community. Recher Hall, the former Slovenian Home, was purchased by the Kappa Alpha Psi Cleveland Alumni Chapter and was since rebranded as The Venue on North Vine. Under the direction of its new owners, the venue will continue to produce a myriad of event and business hosting opportunities f
or its new and pre-existing clientele. Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated is a historically Black fraternity. The Cleveland Alumni Chapter, also known as the Cleveland Nupes, is an arm of the fraternity that is committed to executing various expressions of public service. By leveraging the collective time, talent and treasure of our members, we continue to serve the ever-changing needs of Greater Cleveland through leadership development, volunteerism, mentorship, partnership and philanthropic support. As philanthropists, we saw an opportunity to invest in the city of Euclid, Ohio and create a space that would benefit both the fraternity and the surrounding community. A portion of this investment is to complete the structural repairs required to keep the building operational so that we may continue to serve the community through providing a space to carry out their private and public celebrations and events, corporate trainings, community gatherings, events held by those in the educational sector, and so much more. The purchase and renovation of The Venue on North Vine is just the latest example of our commitment to giving back while moving forward. In time, The Venue on North Vine promises to evolve into a top-tier event space, providing a valuable resource for all of our supporters and investors while preserving the integrity and character of this 100-year-old location!
