Looking for a big sweet spot for 1000-2000 people to party in downtown Los Angeles?

We gots A/C and 2 big beautiful floors, each with a mezzanine.

This is the best spot I've seen in LA for a big party and, believe me, I've seen quite a lot!

Booking now, holler quick, I'm pushing out to Burning Man next week

SO excited about this new spot I just scouted in Anza !!! Just 2 hours from San Diego and 2.5 from LA.

Lovely owners, gorgeous property! Very private with a gated entrance. No neighbors! They dare you to bring a giant system out here :).

5 pictures for you:

(1) There are hot tubs! Yes, multiple! I got to test one in the dance zone. They even put subwoofers around it so you get a bass massage in there. Others are on-site and will be placed in camping areas. Basically Imagine a similar situation to Guadalupe Canyon in Mexico if you've been there. Except no Mexico crossing or passport required.

(2) The dance area is a gorgeous flat plateau with panoramic views of the Anza Borrego Valley below. It sits around 4000 feet so is a bit cooler than other spots on hot weather. The views are phenomenal and the skies are unreal. Almost zero light pollution here.

(3) They have 6 ATVs they are happy to let organizers use. They have generators they are happy to et organizers use,. There's no well but they can order enough water ahead of the event so people can fill up their bottles. There are 4 portapotties already on site so you don't need to order those

(4). They have a couple of cool party lights and have also scattered thousands of little solar lights around the hills

(5) The owners are amazing and motivated to have parties and put all the revenue into improvements. This picture is of the upper plateau that is many times bigger than the dance plateau and will eventually be leveled for expanded parking or one giant dance and camping area with parking below. The possibilities are endless!

I suggested swimming pool and they were into it :). We are glad to have found each other.

On my most recent Socal scouting trip for Bridge to Paradise I also looked at 5 in the city spots. One was a repeat visit to an awesome downtown LA spot (this time showing to 2 organizer clients) and the other 4 were new and really interesting and surprising too!

1 - Long Beach Private Beach and Camping for 100 people. This cute little spot has a grass strip and a concrete strip that can be use for camping, and a very small private beach. It also has a building with restrooms that I didn't get to see inside this time. Could be fun for birthday parties and small campouts without having to eave the city. Very unique!

2 - Downtown LA 2000 cap with AC and mezzanines. This is my best find lately for large warehouse parties. I had been here before but came to show to a couple of LA organizers. Mostly I did introductions, stayed out of the way, and checked some details I had missed before.

3 - San Diego Underground Afterhours spot. This is my first indoor listing in San Diego and it's a good one! Just under 400 capacity and literally underground, I'm sure it sounds great in here. Lots of character here and pillars, which I love for dance parties.

4 - San Diego Party Compound. This gets the award for most interesting space. It's a party vacation resort right inside the city with multiple event venues, rentable houses, and even a little beach with sand. There is one big indoor gathering space which is a converted church with 150 capacity which also sleeps 20-30 inside in queen bunk beds. Really interesting spot!

5 - Long Beach Park with Camping. I know, what's with the camping spots inside the city? This one is WAY bu**er than the little beach spot and is full of trees, shade, picnic pavilions and more. There's even a stage here. Sure you've been to a park party, but have you ever stayed overnight at one? With great excitement I present unique new venues with a world of potential. My life is so hard to keep up with sometimes! On Friday evening I had a super productive LA scouting trip - all 3 venues I scouted have high potential!

First up, this massive new 4-level air-conditioned warehouse (2 huge rooms, each with mezzanine overlooking dance floor)

Can't even begin to tell you how here bomb this new spot is, but if send me your email I will share all the pictures I got ;)

Rounding out Bridge to Paradise's outdoor offerings in Northern CA is this fabulous Mountain Lodge 45 minutes West of Reno.

This lovely spot has both indoor and outdoor capabilities, lodge rooms and camping.

Inside the 140-bed lodge, rooms vary from the private 2-person 'cubicle' rooms which either have 2 bunk beds or 2 twins side by side (Picture 7), to 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 18-person (Picture 6) bunk rooms. It's a rustic lodge, not luxurious, but is very clean.

Buyouts will be considered with a minimum of 55-80 beds reserved depending on season

This gorgeous property is isolated and under-utilized - Bridge to Paradise is helping bring special events here so give me a holler if you are interested in doing a buyout or collaborating on one

Bridge to Paradise keeps the spotlight on Northern CA venues - and here's a great one for a more simple but gorgeous campout near Ukiah :)

Contrasting here pictures from my site visit in early April with their in-house event in May.

This is another spot that has only had their own in-house parties but wants to rent to good people / party crews for smaller events (200-300 people for now).

I love finding the new spots and this was a really exciting one for me.

Beautiful geography, isolated enough at the end of a hilltop road to have all-night sound. Just two hours from. the Bay Area or Sacramento,

Continuing the accommodations tour of the 400 capacity mountain camp above Big Bear Lake offered by Bridge to Paradise

See previous Wall Post for the 40-bed Lodge tour. The video here shows the 1 of 2 cabin villages and the only one with electricity. It has 32 beds (8 cabins with 4 beds each) and adjacent is a lovely 1600 square foot deck.

This village stands out as the only one with electricity. It has its restroom building with a few bathroom stalls and hot showers. All villages have identical restroom buildings minus the one camping village that lacks facilities

I'm trying to fill the August 9-11 weekend - if interested and wanting a tour in hope of renting for these dates, you must do your tour on Monday or Tuesday this week. You can also view our virtual tour if you message me with your email address.

Bridge to Paradise is a West Coast + Hawaii music venue booking agency, and the West Coast would certainly not be complete without Seattle! Excited to add our first Seattle venue to the roster :)

It's a really fun underground spot and that is meant quite literally! You enter the venue down a pretty deep stairway and discover a really fresh basement space with a main room with a large dance floor, bar, and stage, and a second room with a small dance floor and stage.

Venue of the Day! Went back to Frazier Park for scouting visit number 2 for Bridge to Paradise and Tropical on Monday!

On Monday's trip I checked out the camping villages and picked the perfect spot for the dance floor at the debut dance event - Camp Tropical Collaboration September 27-29, 2024

Pictured is one of the 3 Camping Villages at this 160 acre property. The building you see is the restroom building. Each of 3 camping villages and 4 cabin villages has a restroom building identical to this one with toilet stalls, showers, and sinks. I didn't have any content of this before so this is a great addition

It was so good to be back. I am re-energized by the combination of natural beauty, extensive and modern infrastructure, and friendly staff here

More big news from Bridge to Paradise // Music-Friendly Venue Booking -- we have just added our first indoor venue in San Francisco to our roster! And it is a doozy :)

This absolutely gorgeous new venue was designed by artists for event organizers looking for a super classy spot that can go late-night.

It comes with an intalled Turbo sound system, beautiful lighting installations, and lots of cool art. And things are just getting started here!

I have to apologize to my sound engineer friends for my last and poorly worded post about spaces with installed sound systems. That was not meant to imply that a good sound engineer is not required to run any sound system properly, but may have been taken that way.

Sound is the most important element at a music event, and sound is only as good as its engineer. Case in point I have flown my sound engineer to Hawaii (twice) and Portland to be confident I am getting the most out of sound systems that weren't his.

That said, 90% of venues I work with do not have installed systems, and require bringing sound in. Don't worry, that's always reflected in venue rental price. And I'm always happy to give referrals for great sound companies.

That said, let's explore some big warehouse spaces first. These 6 are great blank canvasses that Bridge to Paradise can arrange, one picture of each space.

Who wants to do a cabin party just an hour from San Diego with gorgeous lake views?

This spectacular property features a beautiful perch for dancing outside, cute RVa nd Camping areas, 13 cute cabins with kitchens and fireplaces, and a big house for sleeping more people and after-partying late night

Seems like a lot of event organizers have given up lately. Why not downsize instead? So you thought your outdoor party would have 1000 and it had 150. I'm sure that hurt. Why not plan for 150 next time and make it an epic success instead of an epic fail?.

Downsize is not necessarily downgrade. Think of it as giving up attachment to your party getting bigger and bigger, and focusing on making it better and better.

Ok just some thoughts in hopes to inspire someone to rent this beautiful property now available through Bridge 2 Paradise :)

I'm excited to announce that Bridge to Paradise // Music-Friendly Venue Booking has been hired by the Girl Scouts of LA to help them bring some music event bookings to 2 of their camps in the greater Los Angeles area!

Pictured is the stunning view of Big Bear Lake from one of those - a breathtaking mountain camp at 7400' foot elevation with a total capacity of 400 people in 166 beds plus camping.

There are no sound concerns, restrictions, or curfews because it sits on its own side of the mountain.

I have the last weekend of July held here - keep in mind, it's way too hot to have a full weekend campout in the desert in the middle of summer, so there's much less competition this time of year for weekend outdoor events in Southern California. In a sense, you have the monopoly on a perfect weather summer campout elevated at 7400 feet.

This camp has massive infrastructure! Tons of great facilities and absolutely stunning scenery

There's a huge 350-capacity dining hall with a commercial kitchen. And a heated swimming pool. Also a large 'art' yurt with a stone tile floor which could be used for art of a variety of other purposes.

Let's talk about where we'll sleep!

There's a 'director's trailer' but no director lol, and it's the only queen bed on property so likely goes to headliner or main organizer.

There's a large heated lodge with a commercial kitchen and huge living room. Most organizers would likely make this their production headquarters.

There is one bedroom with 4 bunks (2 bunk beds) and another bedroom with 5 bunks (2 Bunk beds and a single twin bed) and a full bath between them). There is a huge dorm room with 24 bunks (12 bunk beds) and a fireplace.

There's an ADA restroom, and a large bathroom with 3 stalls and 3 showers.

The "Infirmary" is even nicer and could be used for talent, or as a rental to guests. It's really a 4-bedroom house with a full bath including shower in each bedroom.

3 bedrooms have 4 bunks each (2 bunk beds) and 1 bed room has 6 bunks (3 bunk beds) for a total of 18 twin bunks.

The infirmary also features a full kitchen that is fully stocked with plates, cups, bowl, and silverware, and has a large fridge. There's also a large living room and a dining room with a big table.

I'm excited to announce that Bridge to Paradise // Music-Friendly Venue Booking has been hired by the Girl Scouts of LA to help them bring some music event bookings to 2 of their camps in the greater Los Angeles area!

For the next week I am focusing on the closest camp to LA which is in Frazier Park area, just about an hour and 15 minutes distance.

I have the weekend of September 27th to 29th held here - it's absolutely the only weekend available in 2024 and it's a great one! I just found out there is a waiting list for those dates, so I have to move faster than I thought.

So... I am trying to find someone serious about renting the camp for those dates outright, or else collaborators to work together. I have a ton of resources to help, but I'm generally not looking to be the driving force behind events in 2024.

The camp has 260 beds and is ideal for collaborations because it divides beautifully into different cabin villages and tent villages.

Cabin villages (pictured) are modern with twin bunk beds inside small A-frame structures. There are 6 cabins in each village with 8 beds in each cabin. There are 4 cabin villages in total, 3 of them have electricity and one does not. Bathrooms and showers are present in each cabin village, and also fire rings and picnic tables.

Tent villages are where people can pitch their own tents, there are 3 of these with capacity 48 in each. They also have toilets, showers, outdoor grills, fire pits and picnic tables. There is no electricity in tent villages.

There are also two large buildings with bedrooms, bathrooms, showers, and kitchens inside. One is a lodge with 40 beds, and the other is the 20-bed infirmary (you don't have to use it as such.) These are perfect for production and DJs, or you could use one for that and rent the other out to guests, depending. There's also an 8-person cabin and an RV.

There's a huge and gorgeous vaulted-ceiling dining hall with 350 person capacity and a full commercial kitchen. And a swimming pool. This place truly has it all!

It's an amazing 160-acre facility with tons of parking, and it's just perfect for music events. Best of all no sound curfew, only one close neighbor who is friendly and plenty of space on the far end of the property to face sound away and have no issue.

Dang I'm talking myself into doing the event myself as I write this. But I really want to focus on venue booking so will give that priority. Will consider collabs but please don't expect me to bring you on board if you have no experience doing outdoor events or don't have an event with draw in the LA area.

Recently I had a fruitful 2nd site visit to this fabulous Mountain Lodge 45 minutes West of Reno.

Things looked quite different without the 15 foot snowdrifts I experienced last March. It was much easier to imagine a summer outdoor gathering and see the beautiful flat dance area right in front of the lodge, and cute camping area tucked above.

Also this time on the inside I got to see the private 2-person 'cubicle' rooms which either have 2 bunk beds or 2 twins side by side.

Aside from two-person rooms there are 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 18 bunk rooms, with 140 beds in total in the lodge. It's a rustic lodge not luxurious, but is very clean.

Buyouts will be considered with a minimum of 55-80 beds reserved depending on season
