So, I Want To Give A Big Shout To A Few Friends!
I would like to thank my friend Michael who has been a wonderful friend for overseeing my property in Southern Oregon.
I want to thank Dar for helping me to cobble together some of my projects, as well as my friends, John & his wife, Jess, for his help with various media, video and computer techie stuff, and other odds and ends.
I want to thank some of the people at CTV in Eugene, Oregon.
I want to give a shout-out to my friend who runs Fox Arbor Vineyards and soon Fox Arbor Productions.
I also want t to thank the few social activists in the Eugene & Medford communities who have had my back.
I am deeply moved by those of you who came down to see me at the homeless encampment and pledge generous dollars to the Charities I was targeting.
I am grateful for those of you on Facebook that have been diligent enough to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, "Vinsanity Unplugged!" on YouTube - and especially those people who have subscribed, make comments, and share.
Finally, I am indebted to those people who have purchased my books and felt compelled to give me a glowing write-up on such works of love.
All said I will be hanging up my spurs, for my last "Charity Rodeo", insofar that I will not be working so vigorously towards organizations that will not support me to support them.
Instead, I will be focused to make a big push to pay off the only property I have left to use towards providing an affordable place to live for people on limited incomes.
If I fail to achieve this in a month, I will sell my place to the highest bidder, and merely pursue my passion for community building from the sales of my books and other items.
My last Rodeo will begin in October.
Since I was evicted from the Washington/Jefferson Encampment in Eugene Oregon, by the Mayor and the City Council, I decided to proceed with my 21-day water fast (13-days, in a 16 x 16 enclosure, on live-stream) and then the remaining 8-days locked in a sensory deprivation tank (which will also be shown on live stream, so viewers will know that I will not be cheating).
After all, cheating will not help me to lose the 30-excess pounds I desperately need to lose.
After this stunt, I will no longer be striving so hard to offer charitable organizations support, due to the lack of productive return I have for years hoped I would achieve.
I am just too damn exhausted!
During the week prior to the fast and the first 13-days of fasting, I plan on reaching out to various legislators, churches, and social activists to ask for their support, by sharing what I will be doing and perhaps encourage other people to give to good causes.
Remember... for better or worse, we are all interconnected.

I WANT TO GIVE A BIG SHOUT OUT TO Dave Rothman WHO CAME BY TO SEE MY ENCLOSURE AT WASHINGTON/JEFFERSON ENCAMPMENT.
He was so impressed that he pledged to give money to the organizations I am currently most focused on in Eugene Oregon.
They are:
Community Support Shelters, Burrito Brigade and Carry It Forward.
He said that he was going right over to Community Support Shelters to write them a generous check.
Evidently, his example of generosity put the Universe on alert and it seemed as if suddenly, other people showed up to give me their blessing and promised to pledge their money to one or more of the organizations I just listed.
Most of these people I have never met, nor are most of them my current Facebook friends.

In this video, I introduce myself to all of the legislators in the State of Oregon - from the council people and Mayor of every town and city throughout the state all the way up to Governor Kate Brown, and our Federal Senators and Congressmen and women to share information on the fundraising event that I have been planning for months to help inspire people to give money to Community Shelters & Burrito Brigade, both of which are located in Eugen Oregon.
In addition to our esteemed legislators, there have been many people currently running for various Oregon state offices - one of which is the Governor's seat - who have voiced their interest to come and visit us on-site to lend their blessing and support of our efforts.
I also provide this video to the churches and religious organizations that have shared their desire to achieve our like-minded goals.
In addition, I will be sharing this video with Fraternal organizations, labor unions, charities, and many activists who have proven to be very vocal and public about wanting to be a part of positive community building.
I invite these people and the organizations to check out my other videos where I share many of my real-life events, that will give them some insight as to why I am driven to have a part in helping so many great people and the organizations that do their best to serve our communities.
Both of the organizations I will be placing much of my focus on doing so much to help to alleviate the dismal state of which many people are unhoused or suffering from crushing poverty.
Community Shelters purchases or leases land from the City of Eugene or from private citizens on which they place Conestogas or Tiny Pallet shelters to give a place for many of the homeless a respite from the harsh elements.
Burrito Brigade is a team of people that make and deliver their delicious, nutritious Burritos to those people suffering from food insecurity at various church sites around the Eugene/Springfield metropolitan area.
I explain in the video that I will be conducting a twenty-one-day FAST.
Five to seven days prior to my fast, I will be camped at the most populated homeless camp in the City of Eugene, along with some filmmakers interested in directing and producing their documentaries to help lend a medium that would allow anyone who is homeless to tell their side of their story.
During my 21-day FAST, I will be performing some stunts that are considered to make fasting more challenging, and in the final 8-days, I will attempt to break one of David Blaine's impressive records by a day.
Will, what I plan to do be difficult and uncomfortable?
Certainly.
Are there any risks to my health or life from performing these stunts?
Well, to be honest, they are not without potential risks - especially for a man my age in the state of health I find that I am currently in.
That said, all this is for a good cause, and I believe that a person who will not take an intelligent risk for the principles they claim to value, in my estimation, does not have any true conviction of ideals or they possess unworthy values and goals.

TODAY A BIG LET-DOWN!
I Felt Great Yesterday After My Long Walk, Training & No Eating,.
I had quit walking as soon as my knees & back started to sing.
They did not feel as if they would give me problems today.
I woke up and understandably my leg muscles were trashed.
That had to be done to find my new baseline.
However, today, my left knee was swollen and painful and my back was trashed.
I had to take medication that requires it to be taken with food.
So I blew my fast and thought it best to stay in my traveling bunkhouse.
I guess I will have to resume my 21-day fast on Monday.
I hope I can resume some walking by tomorrow or Monday.
I will just have to wait to see what my body tells me.

WALKING & FASTING FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING:
I WILL BE BACK ON MY LONG WALK STARTING TODAY.
Tomorrow, I Begin My 21-Day Fast (It Might Go Longer)
My goal is to see far can I walk in 21-days (or more), without food,. only water.
My overarching goal is to raise money to pay off what little debt remains on this house - after which, I will allow an organization to use the property to house homeless disabled Veterans.
The House is over 2,000 sq. ft., with very high ceilings upstairs and downstairs.
Upstairs there are 3-very large bedrooms upstairs, 2-very small bedrooms.
Downstairs, 1 -bedroom with its own bathroom. Very large living room, large dining room, very large kitchen. Laundry room/slash back mud porch.
Very Large Shop with bay doors with loft flooring.
Very large backyard, fenced with ally access.
Tomorrow I sign a legal document for a letter of intent of this property for homeless Veterans.
Looking for a support crew to walk with me if I am in their area. Other people to man my support vehicle.
