Ranger, Class of 2025!

Part of me wants to apologize for being so behind on sharing images this year. The other part of me is proud to be more conscious of social media time and not letting it consume so much of my time. I will get everyone shared I promise. But I do think it’s more important that we give our time to the people love more than our work and social media. To say I was excited to do a studio senior portrait session was spot on! 20 minutes, tons of gorgeous images, no wind or freezing temps or worrying about fog. It was amazing!

Dawson, Class of 2025!

I want to share his whole gallery but after this storm I thought everyone could use a little smile (from a horse). His horse gave me lots of smiles and it really was one of the cutest things I've ever witnessed!

Share a smile with someone today, buy someone a coffee, or just reach out and check on a friend. We could all use a little love. Maybe the storm didn't affect you at all but for many, trees fell and did significant damage. So check on a neighbor, a friend, a co-worker or a stranger today we got a few more days of rain ahead.

Editing and sharing on this stormy Humboldt County day.

Some of the most beautiful and memorable moment in life are spontaneous and imperfect ones. With photography I find that sometimes the best shots happen in the most unique spots. The side of the road spots and little nooks. It just takes the perfect light, a little texture and an adventurous senior to make a stunning gallery like Ruby's. Loving all these awesome seniors and a little sad that the season is about to come to a close. It's a good thing I suppose with a week ahead of nothing but rain. If you are thinking about a spring a session, cap and gown session, friendship grad session now is the time to reach out and save a spot.

Ruby, Class of 2024!

It was really special for me to learn that Ruby and I both were taught ballet by Virginia. Is Ruby not the most beautiful ballerina? I love when my seniors include something special to them.

Just this week I had horses, dogs, lambs, hunting gear, a truck, chefs coat, wrestling gear, ffa coat and tonight traditional native regalia.

Gianna, Class of 2025!

Many of you would think I would be wrapping up senior portrait season. Reality, it's just hitting the peak. I have 7 session this week (yes I'm a little crazy and need to learn to say no). Then I have 7 more seniors before the "season" comes to a close.

I was trying my very best to stay on a 2 week turn around time but it's slowly becoming 3 weeks so please be patient if you are waiting on your gallery.

Whats coming up, well I have hoped to get in a day or evening of 10 minute family minis for all of you that have loved these in the past I am still hopeful however it comes down to weather! I also installed the bed in the studio yesterday with the help of my son. So bring me all the bo***ir sessions, I can't wait to make art with you.
