Perseverance is relentless determination.An attitude ofnever giving up and preparing to weather through the storms in order to accomplish the exact season the Lord has prepared in advance. Are we lacking in perseverance? Have we forgotten how to activate it?
A heart of perseverance is true character;it cannot be taught. All of us must go through the test of life in order to develop perseverance. Have we lost the will to persevere because of comfort and success? I pray we would not rob our children of suffering and trials just because we want only the best for their futures.
Every season requires perseverance, even in seasons of joy, peace, and resting. For some of us, resting is not even in our vocabulary. I pray this would not be the case for us. Perseverance is the main ingredient for every season, whether difficult or easy.
Let us be truthful and honest with God. Sometimes we may be left lost, confused, and disappointed; I pray we would persevere and not give up.
Today, I pray we would be encouraged to find perseverance. Without it, we will not be able to fight in every season the Lord has planned.
Philippians 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
