Happy Juneteenth, Ridgeville! We are thrilled to be kicking off our Concerts on the Ridge series on Freedom Day with the incomparable Gerald McClendon! It's a hot one, but Gerald still plans to turn up the heat. He plays this evening at 6pm at Ridgeville Park. We'll have food vendors on-site, including our featured guest, Hecky's Barbecue. Congratulations to Youth Grow Team for a plentiful first harvest! We completely filled the community fridge on Monroe at Custer with produce this weekend! We’ll be repeating this at least once per week as the season continues.

Welcome to our 2024 Youth Grow Team! We have a team of 7 teens already working hard to grow produce for donation while learning about urban agriculture, community based food security efforts and job skills development.

Want to meet the team?
Join us this Saturday, June 15, 8:00-10:00am at Elks Garden for our first Big Harvest Saturday!

Or bring your family to our June Family Garden Workshop this Saturday, June 15, 11:00am-12:00pm at the Children’s Nature Garden (in the alley between Ridge Ave and Kamen Field House at 1111 South Blvd).

One of our team members (who was a former Ridgeville camper, CIT and garden volunteer) encountered one of the best bugs in our Children's Nature Garden this morning!

Join in for classic hip-hop tracks & dances, and battle Mr. Marcus! EPL will be giving away books, signing kiddos up for summer reading, and have games like giant Connect 4 to play.
