The historic Woman’s Club of Evanston Clubhouse is the perfect place to hold your wedding, conference, gala, or other special event.

The Woman’s Club of Evanston is an ideal setting for special occasions including weddings, conferences, non-profit galas, and much more. Our historic Clubhouse, built in 1912, exudes warmth and timeless elegance. Its classic architecture includes a black and white marble entrance and a double staircase leading to the dramatic Grand Ballroom. On the first floor, the lovely Tea Room with sparkling c

handeliers flows into the Music Room with one of our grand pianos. The Sun Porch can be used as a wedding suite or additional seating during cocktail hour, providing multiple settings for your friends and family to enjoy throughout the day. The second floor Grand Ballroom dazzles with a gorgeous original floor and tall arched ceiling. A full stage showcases your band or DJ. The venue has been thoughtfully modernized to include an elevator and wheelchair accessible ramps and restrooms. The gorgeously remodeled, spacious restrooms on each floor are All-Gender. The Woman’s Club hosts only one event at a time so yours will be our sole focus. Select a caterer from our broad selection of preferred professionals with various price ranges. Our caterers are familiar with the Clubhouse, assuring your event will run smoothly. Dinnerware, tables, chairs and other equipment are included in your rental. You may purchase your own alcoholic beverages with no corkage fees and unopened bottles can usually be returned to the vendor. All beverages must be served by licensed bartenders. Parking for your guests is easy! There is abundant and reasonably priced parking available across the street and we are located just blocks from the Metra and CTA. We recently invested in💡up-lights💡to create an extraordinary look in our Ballroom for your special event! We are selling a new lighting package where we arrange 28 up-lights throughout the Ballroom for the dinner/dancing portion of the evening. We’ll keep it simple and elegant with warm white light. Alternatively we can create a custom single color look if desired. Amber, blue, lavender and more all look fantastic.

On the first floor, the intimate Tea Room with sparkling chandeliers flows into the Music Room and Sun Room providing the ideal setting for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Located in the heart of downtown Evanston our Clubhouse has hosted hundreds of events over the past century.

The Woman’s Club allows you to select a caterer from our broad selection of preferred caterers with various price ranges to accommodate your budget. Our preferred caterers are very familiar with the Clubhouse assuring your event will run smoothly. Dinnerware, tables, chairs and other equipment needed to host your wedding are included.

You may purchase your own alcoholic beverages with no corkage fees and unopened bottles can usually be returned to the vendor. All beverages must be served by the licensed caterer.
