Wedding photography lead me to creating Warehouse 410. Because of this, I LOVE getting to see what the amazing photographers create in our space. Brittney Moseby Photography quickly became one of my favorites. I decided to start doing some vendor spotlights and I knew Brittney had to be first. I can't wait to see her at more weddings at Warehouse 410
- What got you into photography? Honestly I have always been the girl with the camera forcing everyone around me to take photos. I tragically lost my best friend in 2017 and my photos with and of her are some of my most prized possessions. I know not everyone is lucky enough to have hundreds of photos of their loved ones but I sincerely believe photos become more valuable with time. I started taking photography seriously as a business when I got bored during COVID and had way too much free time on my hands.
-What is something you get to do that you love creatively? I would say my favorite thing currently is editorial engagement sessions. When my couples are super into it & bring props like champagne to spray, old vintage cars to pose with, and dress to the nines. I am most inspired by editorial magazines like Vogue so when I get to play around and create images that feel like they belong in a magazine- I am on cloud 9.
-Best advice to the bride while planning their wedding timeline. Have a professional planner or photographer with you as you plan your timeline. What typically takes 5 minutes on a regular day will likely take 30 minutes on your wedding day. For example, we always suggest leaving 30 minutes for the bride to get in her dress. This seems excessive but by the time the bride goes the bathroom, brushes her teeth, puts on deodorant & her spanks, secures her chest with tape, finally puts on the dress, mom buttons all 30 buttons after searching her purse for her glasses, she then puts on her earrings & necklace & shoes & perfume, THEN we put on the veil and secure it with a few bobby pins. This isn't even including any posed portraits along the way. It certainly almost always takes 30 minutes. So if a couple were left on their own to plan the timeline without a professional's help, it will likely set them up for failure because they won't leave enough time for each section and & this is why the ceremony wouldn't start on time or the guests are waiting forever for dinner. We can confidently & honestly say that our team has never ever been the reason a wedding has ran late & more often than not, our couples are impressed how efficiently we work. That's always our goal because at the end of the day, your wedding isn't one big photoshoot. We want you to actually have down time to spend with your friends and family. This is easy to accomplish if you hire professionals who specialize in weddings.
