Lunch on the Lawn is this Friday, August 9th! 🌮

Come spend your lunch hour with us and enjoy the cooler temps that are coming. Food trucks will be along Vine Street and 4th Street and there will be picnic tables on the lawn.

Lunch will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM 🍟🍔

This event is hosted by the Old Courthouse Foundation with the goal of creating community and bringing awareness to the ongoing restoration of our building. Please considered a donation to the Old Courthouse Foundation for the preservation of the Old Courthouse.

Tonight our clock tower lights will be blue & yellow congratulating the graduates of Vincennes University Adult Education - Evansville!💙💛

Vincennes University Adult Education - Evansville is passionate about helping adults of all ages in the Evansville and surrounding areas earn their HSE (High School Equivalency) diploma.
They offer FREE classes held at at the Evansville Center located Downtown at 216 SE 3rd St.
Their Adult Education Instructors will give you the assistance and resources you need to improve your skills in the 5 main subject areas: Science, Social Studies, Math, Reading and Language/Writing.
In addition, the instructors will teach various soft skills (communication skills, problem solving skills, etc) to better prepare you for your career as well as your personal life.

Congratulations to a beautiful couple that is one of our own! ❤️💍

Jessica and Tyler were models for the launch of our elopement program that started in February of 2023. Tyler now serves as one of our officiants for the elopement program and was also one of the Evansville Fire Department firefighters that helped extinguish the fire in our building on June 14.

We couldn’t be happier for the new, Mr. & Mrs. Pipes! The Old Courthouse wishes you a lifetime of love and happiness. Thank you for letting us be apart of it. ❤️
