✨🎅 The End of an Era 🎄✨

We sleigh this with love… Santa Claus Lane has officially come to an end. 🎄 While we had hoped to make this an annual tradition, in the spirit of transparency, the turnout just wasn’t quite what we needed to keep it going — but don’t worry, the cheer lives on!

🎁✨ As a part of a larger Lake Zumbra Neighborhood Garage Sale, we’re hosting a massive Christmas liquidation event the first weekend in May! It’s your chance to take home a piece of the magic — there will be something for everyone!

More than the lights or displays, what made SCL special was you. What started as a festive idea turned into something so meaningful — an event that brought families together, lit up our little corner of the world, and filled it with wonder. We’re beyond grateful for every visitor, every kind message, every car full of wide-eyed kids, and every shared smile.

It’s hard to say goodbye, but we’re even more thankful it ever existed. 💫

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

The holidays are a time for coming together, and we need YOUR help to make Santa Claus Lane a magical success! 🎅❄️

Our previous plans for volunteer support fell through unexpectedly, and we’re urgently seeking volunteers to help with Crossing Guard duties and (if we’re lucky enough to get snow) Snow Removal.

We have two daily shifts available:
🕙 10 AM - 2 PM
🕑 2 PM - 6 PM

📅 Shifts rotate daily, so you can pick the time that works best for you. Volunteers 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

✨ Bonus: If you volunteer for 12+ hours, you’ll receive TWO free General Admission Tickets as our heartfelt thank you! 🎟️❤️

📸 Pro Tip for Parents: Take a Picture for Santa! 🎅

As a mom, I know all too well how quickly the “gimmes” can kick in when we’re out shopping with the kids. 🛒 Over the years, I’ve developed a little trick that’s turned into a fun tradition for our family—whenever my littles spot something they really want, but it’s not the right time to buy it, I say, “Okay, let’s take a picture for Santa!” 🎄

It started as a simple way to manage those in-the-moment desires, but now it’s become a memorable experiment that we all love. The kids will even remind me, “Mom, take a picture of this for Santa!” It’s a great way to keep the magic alive year round, while also teaching a little patience. 🎁

This little tip has been a lifesaver during our shopping trips, and I hope it brings some cheer and relief to your family, too. After all, Santa loves getting those wish lists early! 😉

🤠🎅 A Small World at Santa Claus Lane 🎅🤠

One of my favorite things about Santa Claus Lane is how it brings together the people and connections that mean the most to me. Today, I’m rocking my favorite cowboy hat with a special twist—a custom Santa Claus Lane hat band crafted by my dear friend, Lisa, from Roshay & Co. 🌟

Lisa and I have known each other for over 20 years, and she’s become like family—literally! Through her daughter’s marriage, Lisa is now family to my best friend, making this connection even more special. It’s a small world, and an even smaller, but wonderfully big, Santa Claus Lane! 🎄

I’m so proud to showcase Lisa’s beautiful work, and you can find Roshay & Co. at Santa’s Market, holding space in the Cuddigan Leather cabin. The front of the hat says “Santa Claus Lane” - she used recycled leather and other materials to create this amazing, detachable hat band! 🎄✨ Forget the big commercial extravaganzas, because Santa Claus Lane is all about keeping it cozy and personal this Holiday! 🎅🏼✨

This heartwarming event was dreamt up by a spirited woman entrepreneur, who owes the possibliity of the dream come true to her supportive family 🎁💕 Santa Claus Lane’s handcrafted wooden sign is an intentional testament to that fact! This sign was made by 4 generations, pictured here - assembled by Husband Drew, crafted with love by Grandfather Don, painted with care by Father Dave, and supported with plastic tools by Son Rex - every detail you’ll meet after the enterance sign will sparkle with that same family magic. 🌟🔨🎨
