Saturday night was special for me in many ways. I had backed off weddings once COVID hit for many personal reasons. But when Karly called me up a year ago, I knew I couldn’t pass up the chance to celebrate with this family one more time. I met her when I was the DJ at her sister Brooke’s wedding almost 7 years ago! So glad that I got to see everyone again… apparently I gained weight but still rock a light blue shirt at the end of the night. 😂

One of the most humbling and gratifying things about this line of work can be the thank you cards you get after it’s all said and done. Because of a pandemic, I got to receive these two cards exactly one year apart from & — I hope that we find more reasons to celebrate together in the future!
