I'm at home with a migraine, but my husband and kids are out collecting 🎃 pumpkins 🎃. They are at the FWW commissary now until 5:15pm, and then the Walmart parking lot from 5:30-6:30pm.

Thank you everyone who has brought us your pumpkins! You are making 60+ animals very happy ❤️

Over the last two days, FPD has received numerous reports of vandalism in the downtown area. Several businesses have had windows broken or shattered. We are seeking any video footage from businesses or private citizens that may show the individual or individuals responsible. Addresses that reported damage include but are not limited to: 301 Cushman Street (Lichen), 302 Cushman Street (Fairbanks Children’s Museum), 300 Barnette Street (Republican Campaign Headquarters), 315 Barnette Street (U.S. Post Office) 511 2nd Avenue, and 1417 Gillam Way (Spirit of AK FCU).

Please check any camera footage that you may have in these areas. Timeframe to check would be between Saturday and Monday morning. Any information or relevant camera footage can be sent to us at [email protected].

*Alaska Commercial Properties, Inc. has offered a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this rash of vandalism.
