This weekend we had the pleasure of volunteering at an autism event. Courtney who is a Special Education teacher gives selflessly of her time, energy, and most importantly love to “her babies”. For month she decided to have an event where families could come and enjoy each other and also share knowledge. Initially she ONLY asked me to come and speak to parents about my journey of raising a child with autism and share resources😳🤣…but come on…you guys know I had to offer to serve too.😃. Thank you to some of my peeps for volunteering their time and finances at the last minute(love y’all 🤣🤣) to help me pull it off. We were able to provide food, sensory toys, and a packet for parents with literature, bracelets, and a lanyard. I pray that God blesses Courtney beyond her wildest dreams to continue to help families🙏🏾. We’re excited to do it again next year💃🏽💙💃🏽. 💙💙💙
