Entrepreneurship is quite the adventure! As a small business owner, I’ve discovered a purpose and fulfillment that is unparalleled; I never want to go back to the 9-5 hustle, tbh lol. The freedom to call the shots for my life, pursue my passions, and build something meaningful from the ground up has honestly changed my life.
The journey of entrepreneurship is a catalyst for growth, pushing me beyond my comfort zone like all the time lol, and I’ve been able to realize my potential in ways I never knew possible. I’ve grown as a communicator, in self-motivation, organization, sales, leadership, MINDSET, and honestly, gratitude too.
When I’m out and about with friends and they ask me, “Anna, how’re you doing? How’s your week going?” and are met with my response: “It’s going so well and has been for a long time; I love my life!” it often catches people off guard. But why should it?
Through entrepreneurship, I’ve unlocked what I’ve always been made for: empowering others, growing as a human, leadership, and genuine JOY. I’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for the journey and a profound love for every aspect of my life as a result of owning @penderviewevents . So thankful today.

I get to call the shots with my life.
I get to be my own boss.
I get to live the life I want to live.
I get to do what I want, whenever I want to do it.
And you’ll notice…I don’t HAVE to do all these things, I GET to do them.
It is SUCH a joy to have escaped the 9-5 rat race and embraced the mindset that my time is my own, it’s the most precious gift and asset of my life, and when I get to pursue my dreams, I get to live life on my terms.
It’s liberating. I do what I want, not what I’m told to do.
Being on own boss is what I’ve always dreamt of. And yes, making the jump to starting my own business was incredibly difficult. It can be scary, I get that too.
But fear is simply false evidence appealing real. It’s meant to protect us, yes, but it’s also ridden with falsehood and keeps us down and out.
I get to go hiking on a Tuesday afternoon if I want. I get to mentor friends for coffee on Thursday late mornings. I get to hustle and pursue my dreams, my goals, my life. I get to pursue the life I desire…and that’s so worth remembering.
Today, I’m incredibly grateful. I get to do life on my terms and I get to choose gratitude and joy along the way!!
You do you, friends. And if you’re thinking about starting that business, let this be your sign to JUMP IN. The entrepreneurial journey is SO worth it!!
