Serving those who serve is something we consider one of our greatest honors. In her time as Wayne County Coroner, Carrie has served our community well and in her time of need we are proud to stand beside her! On Saturday, August 31st at 10:00am we will be selling BBQ, smoked by Josh Glisson, on Save A Lot's parking lot with all proceeds to go to Carrie and her medical expenses. We hope to see you all there!

Devon Smothers, one of our junior firefighters, has recently been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. He is currently undergoing treatments at Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis. In support of Devon and his family the Fairfield Rural Fire Department is planning a porkchop benefit dinner to offset travel and medical costs as he tackles the long journey ahead of him. Devon and his father, Derek, are both members of the Fairfield Rural Fire Department.

“His Fight is Our Fight” t-shirts are available to order. T-shirts can now be ordered at Vaughan’s Tire and will be available to order the day of the benefit. T-shirts are $20. Be on the lookout for Gun Raffle information coming soon. All proceeds will be going to Devon and his family to help towards medical expenses.
