The Toy Nest was born thanks to this trip with these two kids and this thrift store big wheel that didn’t work. A visit to see the grandparents shouldn’t mean buying a houseful of toys!

Parents, don’t blink. It’s been a bittersweet emotional week over here as my oldest moves on to middle school. From her first day of kindergarten to her last day of elementary school, I am reminded once again that the days may be long but the years are short.
