Wedding tip from Michaela at Harmon: Take Breaks in Your Day!
From the second you wake up to the second you fall asleep on your wedding day, every second is going to be filled with things to do. Make sure to take time to separate yourself from the chaos and soak in the emotions of your wedding day. You getting married to your better half is the entire reason of the day, so make the most out of it WITH them!
Examples:
Do your first look before the ceremony so you can take most of your photos before and have some extra time to share that pre-ceremony excitement WITH your partner.
Plan with catering to have your dinner in private 15/20 minutes before “dinner” starts so while your guests are eating, you can cut the cake, play games, start the toasts early, AND share an intimate dinner with your HUSBAND/WIFE!
Take 15 minutes during the evening to step outside for sunset photos! One, they’re going to be stunning, and two, you get to capture the “just got married” feels in a private matter.
My Philosophy // The first time I picked up a camera, I knew it was something I was meant to do. I love artistically capturing sweet, candid moments. You’re not just a client and I make sure you know that by treating you like my closest friends and family. Ensuring you feel comfortable in front of my camera and serving you with help in any way that I can. Gathered is a rental shop specializing in boutique-style furniture. So, think harvest tables, velvet sofas, and one of a kind decor, rather than your typical plastic tables and folding chairs. Our warehouse in Moorhead is full – floor to ceiling – with our curated collection, which we lend to others to help their creative visions come to life!
-How does it work?
Easy! You select the pieces you love from our collection. We create a proposal for you. When you’re ready, you confirm your order with a 50% initial payment. When your event date rolls around, our logistics and warehouse crew take excellent care of you so you don’t have to worry about a thing!

-Can I come see your collection in person?
Absolutely! The best way to fall in love with our collection is to come check it out in person! Warehouse tours are available by appointment only, so just reach out so we can reserve an appointment time just for you!
-What is the average total cost of rentals for weddings?
It’s hard to nail down an average cost for weddings because people’s needs vary so greatly depending on venue, guest count, and travel expenses. Some orders are as small as $200 or upwards of $10,000! For our design clients, we tend to see an average order of $3,000-$6,000.
-Can you help me set up decor that I didn’t rent from you?
To help keep our delivery crew on schedule and moving from one event to the next, we only provide setup services for items rented from our own collection.
-Do you offer payment plans?
We do! A payment of 50% is required to reserve your rentals, and the remaining 50% is due 15 days before your r

I am a DJ, Nurse, girl dad (including the dog), aspiring pontoon captain, and an extremely poor golfer. I love the roll I get to play on your wedding day because I am the DJ your parents didn’t expect while also being the DJ your friends were hoping for. On the MC side, I enjoy taking or directing attention where it needs to be. Making sure your guests understand what’s happening and when without being over the top. On the DJ side, I enjoy mixing and transitioning music in a fun way. Reading the crowed to see what’s working and what’s not. And figure out what songs will get aunt Janice and your friend Michael dancing at the same time.
As a DJ/MC and business owner I continue to grow and educate myself by learning from every event, being involved with many local wedding vendors, and attending conventions and workshops.
