Tents and Events Rentall is currently seeking candidates for the position of Party Store Clerk. We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated, and energetic individuals to make a real impact on our daily operations. An ideal candidate will be highly personable with the drive to go above and beyond the call of duty. The right candidate will be excited about working with the possibility of overtime in the summers.

Position Tasks & Activities:

Rents equipment or arranges for the provision of service to the customer.
Prepares rental forms and contracts, obtains customer signature and other information as required.
Computes charges based on rental or service rate.
Explains rental fees and provides information about rented items, such as operation or description.
Collects deposit or payment or records credit charges by maintaining customer charge file daily and balancing daily sales receipts.
Answers telephone and receives orders by phone.
Recommends items to customers that meet their needs.
Reserves items for requested time and maintains rental reservation file.
Updates/calls overdue list daily and alerts supervisor of overdue contracts.
Cleans showroom and equipment. Arranges showroom displays. Keeps shelves organized, stocked, and clean.
Assists customers with the loading and unloading of equipment when necessary. May also need to demonstrate safety features and operational features of the equipment.
May fill customer’s propane cylinders from time to time.
Deliver and pick up equipment/ set and tear events and tents.
Resolves customer problems.
Perform other duties as requested.
Nature of the Work:

Must be able to service customers in a polite, friendly and professional manner whether in person or on the telephone. Must assist them with reservations, contracts, questions, register transactions and order adjustments. Must be able to process cash and credit card payments, as well as make change and credits.May be required to go on event and tent sets that require lifting, walking, and physical work.

Rentall is looking for an event install person. Person will assist the tent/event installation crew. Will help customers and delivery personnel load and unload vehicles. Will assemble tents and event Equipment. Will also help maintain inventory. Shipping and receiving functions, from light to heavy, are also performed. This position assists customers with equipment check-in, check-out and basic operation knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare equipment for rent.
Deliver and pick up equipment.
Prep equipment, if necessary, prior to loading.
Secure customer signature on a contract, if not already signed.
Inform supervisor of difficulties with deliveries or pickups.
Know specifics and applications of rental inventory, so you can answer questions upon delivery.
Assist with loading and unloading equipment
Provide customers basic training, as needed
Record fuel logs and other information
Stage equipment for deliveries
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the yard
Assemble various tents per manufacturer, company, safety policy & procedures.
Fill in for other positions, when necessary, for smooth operation of the business.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form.
