Today’s gratitude post centers on our homebase: Fargo-Moorhead!
15 years after Kent dipped his toes into the Fargo-Moorhead area, Livewire quickly found itself right at home in Fargo-Moorhead, too. While Livewire doesn’t DJ weddings anymore, the growth at Livewire since 2006 has been non-stop!
We’ve gone from a trailer behind a pickup to a brick-and-mortar 14,000-square-foot facility; from Kent and a few friends that would help out every now and then to a roster of (as of just yesterday!) TWENTY-FIVE incredible team members (...and some friends that still help out every now and then), and we’ve gone from a focus on solely providing high-quality audio to a focus on providing high quality event production and management, including audio, video, lighting, staging, scenery, rigging, and power: the whole nine yards, and then some.
And we’re not just serving Fargo-Moorhead anymore: we’re operating regularly across the country, serving corporate, nonprofit, and concert clientele, thanks to Fargo-Moorhead’s central location (which was almost called “Centralia” ...can you imagine??).
Livewire’s growth would absolutely not have been possible without the incredible support of the Fargo-Moorhead community and surrounding area. We’ve found that the people of southeastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota have a work ethic that matches ours: an attitude of collaboration, a commitment to do good work, to do it right the first time, and to do well by everyone you meet.
Thank you, Fargo-Moorhead: we are so proud to call this place “home.”
