Question: Why are you stopping certain items for consignment each month now?

Answer: Because at times, we are taking in a full rack (first photo) every 1 to 3 days! If these are not the current items in need or what is seasonly being shopped for, we are more items in than out! We have to have room available for the items in need, and we have to be able to keep up inspecting, entering, and getting them all floor ready!

Q: What are you currently taking or in need of?

A: We are now looking for HOMECOMING and short style junior dresses in all sizes! We also are looking for ALL categories size 12 and up - what leaves the store the quickest! And we will always consign bridal in all sizes if it meets our criteria.

Q: When can we bring stuff in?

A: September starts new consignment times! These are now blocked for consignment at the start and/or end of the business day while we are closed to shoppers. See photo number 2?? 👀 This rack is JUST the homecoming dresses tried on today by shoppers that I would not have had time to help if I had consignment scheduled throughout the day! This did not count the mother of dresses and gala dresses that filled another rack that I WAS able to get put away before I went home. 😉

CHECK THE WEBSITE calendar on the home page. There is now a Consignment Info block across the dates with the times to come in! No appt needed during these times unless more than 10 items.

"WHAT IN THE HELL DID I ORDER?" I'm getting real here guys... this is something we deal with 4 to 5 times a week these days! I am very, very tired of explaining to consignors why we cannot and will not take online, unbranded items with little to no information on the product!

We understand you want a certain style, with colors to choose from, and a very reasonable price tag! BUT... this is where everyone gets trapped. We do not condone purchasing from Amazon non-Prime members or 3rd party venders, direct from China sites (we have a huge list on our website!) like JJ's House, Shein, Temu, and many, many others. These are absolutely CRAP and EVERY SINGLE ONE comes to us new or still in the bags! Even Amazon is NOT honoring the returns since it's from a separate vender from them and their Prime conditions!

JUST STOP!!! Know that you can and should search the site you are looking at in both Trust Pilot and Scam Advisor and read the reviews. I will NOT consign these products for my own family and friends because they do not sell and I want shoppers to be proud of what they bought from me! I will not ever shame someone from trying to save money; but if you do not wear them - donate them. I have now been here for 6.5 years and have built a trust with my repeated shoppers. I am not new. I know what does not sell. Even the other resale and consignment stores do not accept low grade or fast fashion as they also want regular label or designer brands that people want! Our racks are FULL and will not waste real-estate with these items.

Now that I got that off my chest today, please tell your family and friends to LOOK INTO the sites before they order from them! I do not want to be the last resort to finding a new dress, or the dumping ground of $35-85 hard, crunchy, and ill-fitting garments that no normal woman in America will fit. I also want to thank all the shoppers and consignors who have brought me wonderful items over the years; and these have been from stores as simple as JCP, Macy's, and David's - all the way up to fancy boutiques, high-end retailors, or bridal stores!

Our consignment has gotten completely plugged up lately and has taken time away from helping shoppers because of these said items. Starting in September ALL CONSIGNMENT is changing - and is on our website homepage.

SEPTEMBER IS NEAR! And during this back to school adjustment period, we are also adjusting - and making a few changes during the next couple of months. Unfortunately, my two valuable employees also head back to school and their schedules change. This and also finding that we have been receiving more IN than OUT for consignment in the last two months, I have to regulate the consignment needs for September and October.

FALL HOURS will begin. Google will be updated, along with the calendar on the website homepage! We will be closed 1-2 Saturdays September through October, so please plan ahead. Feel free to call with any opening questions prior to coming in if you are unsure!

CONSIGNMENT in September: We will ONLY be accepting Size 12 and Up for all categories, Homecoming dresses all sizes, and Bridal gowns all sizes (email first before setting up appt.) All walk ins will be turned away during this time.

We told you it would be soon😉 This dress deserves it's own post just by the utter beauty of it!! Illusion long sleeves with a sexy plunge v-neck. Crepe trumpet silhouette with a gorgeous chapel style train.

One alteration that would be so simple to do to this gown to make it personalized to you would be to add buttons🪡 that follow the current line already on there and have it go all the way down the train. The littlest fixes make the biggest difference!🤯
