Merry Christmas!

It's with a heavy heart that I write this post. Like all good things, it's time to say good bye, and close this part of my story. It's not a decision that I made easily, and goodness my heart is sad, however, it is necessary.
What started as a pipe dream as a girl with her mama, turned into an amazing run of 11 years at the kitchen. I have had some extraordinary experiences. I learned huge life lessons, and met some of my most favorite people along the way. Thank you for being a part of my journey. Your encouragement when I was starting out, your continued support and word of mouth referrals made me who I am, as a chef caterer. I will miss seeing a lot of your faces popping in to say Hi.
Although I won't be working out of the kitchen, I am hoping to be involved in the industry in a small way still. Look for posts for meal offerings or sample boxes. Maybe just maybe, you might see me at small event doing what I love. Food is my love language. For now though, I need to take care of my family.

If you happen to see me at the kitchen the next several weeks, feel free to stop in and chat. I would love to reminisce and hug your neck! So for now, I'll just say - "see ya!"

Today starts the fury of the next few days of making Thanksgiving Meals and sides for my favorite clients/friends. I have been helping families with their Thanksgiving meals for 11 years! It has been fun! Thank you for trusting me to help make those memories with family and friends around your table delicious.

Pick up in Farmer City by Noon (unless other accommodations are needed) in Champaign by 2-3 pm at 1802 S Duncan Ave or in Mahomet after 4pm this coming Wednesday!

I have spent most of the day at Dr Appointments for Ellie Jo. She isn't feeling well at the moment. I absolutely hate to say this, I need to do pick ups on Friday and Saturday. Due to her being sick the last few days and having a super rough night last night, I am running on fumes. I have my ideas and ingredients, I just need the time. When we head home this eveing, I will be starting to work on a few of the desserts. I am so sorry to do this again. Life right now, it is a lot. But like most things, this too shall pass! Thank you for understanding.

I have a ton of dessert and breakfast/brunch recipes and a few lunch/ dinner/possible freezer meal type recipes.

Whew!
I am a little bit more pulled together now. Thursday October 3rd will be our new Pick Up day! So if you commented that you were wanting a tray, I am happy to meet with you on that Thursday or even Friday the 4th to get you your sample tray(s).

I will message all who commented and ask if this date works! Thank you for being understanding. I am really excited for these recipes and ideas!

Hey Everybody. I have literally bit off more then I can chew this week. Due to various appointments and mom life, I haven't had the time to get into the kitchen to make all the yummy delicious things. Would it be alright if we push pick up to another date? I am exhausted and need a day or two to catch up!
