Nine of our students performed for judges at Oxford High School for the Music Theatre Solo and Ensemble Festival, along with hundreds of students from the area. Joelle Kassabri received a Certificate of Participation, Grace Pour received an overall Good rating of II (two), Evelyn Thebault, Laura Blase, London Smith and Rebecca Morgan all received Excellent ratings of I (one) and Arya Agulto, Sydney Marchak and Malia Jones all received PERFECT scores and a rating of Excellent. All who received I’s have been invited to sing in the State Honors Music Theatre Ensemble. Congrats to all of our stellar singers!

Performing Arts had the pleasure of taking in a cabaret performance by alum Cayla Stus ‘20. Cayla recently earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Oakland University and is now studying contemporary music and preparing for a tour abroad. Cayla’s original music can be found on Spotify or wherever you stream music.

Mercy Performing Arts seeks one male actor currently enrolled in any local high school for Pride and Prejudice by Kate Hamill to play Mr. Darcy. All other roles have been cast.
