The Farmington Bluegrass Festival is here and we are getting things ready! We had a touch of rain to settle the dust here at Indian Lake Park, and now the sun is shining! Come on out for a fun filled weekend and enjoy!

We’re looking forward to the Farmington’s Bluegrass Weekend Festival and Jam in a couple weeks on Aug 30-31. We play Friday at 8:30pm and Saturday at 6:30pm! Joining us will be The Baker Family, The Bluegrass Blondies & William Lawson band.

I have had a few questions about the Bluegrass Festival so I thought I would try cover them all. Please bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. We want this intimate setting to be like Grandmas front porch. This is an all ages weekend. Its free admission, but we do "pass the hat" sometime during the evening performances. This helps cover the cost of the entertainment. All Indian Lake Campground rules apply first and foremost to all events of the weekend. If anyone has any questions about the weekend, feel free to drop me a message and we will get back to you directly! Cant wait to see everybody again this year and enjoy the sounds of Bluegrass at the Park!!!!!

Here is an updated poster with the revised stage times. We had to do a little moving around. Thank goodness our musical guests are understanding and willing to go above and beyond to make this show a big splash!!!

Attention Farmington Bluegrass Festival goers:! We are excited to have Girl Scout Troop #4089 with us this year! They will be conducting our opening ceremony each evening and rumor has it that they might be selling some home baked goodies over the weekend as well. Come support your local young people, and a great organization while enjoying the sounds of Bluegrass in the air!

This weeks musicians spotlight for the Farmington Bluegrass Festival shines on Lori King & Junction 63! We are lucky to have them performing both Friday and Saturday evening. Not only will they be performing but Lori has been a key part in getting this festival up and rolling. Promotions, advice, encouragement, and just anything that needs to be covered, she has been there. Come and enjoy one of the best groups around folks! You wont be dissapointed!

This weeks musicians spotlight for the Farmington Bluegrass Festival shines on The Bluegrass Blondies! This family group from Ottumwa, IA are joining us again for a second year. They will be performing both Friday and Saturday evening. Family harmony at its best! What a treat for our festival! Check in again next week for another musicians spotlight!
