New England Concours d'Elegance is Hemmings' 70th Anniversary celebration benefitting The Hometown Foundation. The show will feature an array of exclusive car classes, with 10 categories. Notable classes include Ferrari, Jaguar, and other luxury and vintage cars. The event will present 13 awards, such as Best in Show, The Hometown Foundation Award, and the Hemmings Award. Alongside the Concours, special exhibitions will display hypercars, vintage tractors, and drag race cars from the 50s and 60s. The event will also include adoptable dogs from Dog Star Rescue, FPC's goat corral, a unique array of vendors and event apparel. Local Food trucks and Bar will be serving all day. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Hometown Foundation Inc.

Category

History of the Grounds

The club was started in 1929 and has not hosted polo since the mid-1970’s. It has been used over the years for a variety of equestrian competitions, most notably the Children’s Services Horse Show, run by a former owner and trainer, Hugh Kerrigan. As of 2017, we are re-launching polo here at Farmington Polo Club!
