I’ve been doing mini sessions at the cherry blossom trees at the Utah State Capitol building for years and it’s getting so out of control busy. I spend hours upon hours editing people out of the background. This year I’m going to do something a little different.

This bridal session was taken just after sunrise and it wasn’t busy at all and the weather was perfection. I think I’m going to take on a few AM sessions at the capitol, and PM sessions at an orchard. Prepping for spring! 💐

Personal post! Did you know… I have a dog that is about to have her 16th Birthday this year!

She is a bichon frise and her name is Clemmy. I got her in 2010 and she was a 1 year old rescue dog from the Chicago Humane Society. Last month she had to have surgery to remove some horrible ruptured cysts. I was animate about not getting a dog so old surgery, but we went through with it and she’s been great ever since, so I’m happy now that we got it done. She’s gotten ill a few times over the past several years and I wasn’t sure if she’d pull through, but she has. She’s such a sweet pup, has been a great pet and best friend to my kiddos.

My 2024 year end review!

It is truly an honor to capture so many special memories and life events for everyone that chooses me to be their photographer. I strive to make each session enjoyable with the photos being warm, creative, vibrant and filled with memories with the most important people in your life. I pay attention to detail with every photo I deliver, as if I were delivering them to my own family members.

Reflecting on all of the weddings and families I’ve captured this year and previous years, I feel like I’ve finally gotten to a point where I am confident in my abilities and happy with my editing process, coloring and quality of my images. This has taken a long time! I’ve made so many mistakes and took it as a learning experience and grew from them. Every year I like to invest in learning more and challenge myself, and will always continue to do that. But I love where I am at now!
