A good summary of US Open Cup info
Are you an amateur or semi-professional soccer team in the United States interested in competing in the 2025 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup? Heads up, you have less than two weeks to apply for Open Division Local Qualifying, which is scheduled to begin in early October.
The tournament is open to all affiliated amateur teams that meet basic eligibility requirements. Teams that advance from the Qualifying Rounds in the Fall will advance to the Tournament Proper in Spring 2025 where they will face professional teams.

QUALIFYING ROUND DEADLINES
August 26: Entry Deadline. All teams must register and declare a home venue.
September 12: Deadline to Submit 25-Player Roster
QUALIFYING ROUND DATES
October 5 & 6: First Qualifying Round
October 26 & 27: Second Qualifying Round
November 16 & 17: Third Qualifying Round
December 7 & 8: Fourth Qualifying Round
