These red roses have been blooming outside my bedroom window for several weeks now. The beautiful yellow and peach colored one bloomed unexpectedly late yesterday evening. The hummingbirds hide in the bushes. And there's a different long-term red rose on the right end.

This Monday I am flying up to New England to be with my granddaughter as she goes through surgery. Lindsay got my flights scheduled, and Natalie is going to get me to the airport. Sounds great...

In the midst of transitioning to this new place in my life I failed to renew my driver's license. So... I went to the license office and applied for a new ID suitable for air travel. Instead they renewed my license, but couldn't print it there, so it will arrive in the mail in the next 2 weeks. I got a b/w copy of it and my expired one incase the airport wants more than the copy. She said to call the airport/airline to see if I need my birth certificate or what. Sounds easy enough...
