Last night's Black history month's edition of the W.O.W. was incredible!I got a chance to share the stage with the amazing ,owner of and moderator to talk about emotional wellness through Art,Food and the history of Soul food and I also got a chance to create and elevate some of my favorite dishes from my childhood and talk about that.The audience left knowing something that they didn't know when they came.We have some work to do but we're here for it all.

Please welcome our February Drinks & Dialogue speaker, Dr. Bobby Howard, the Executive Director of Arkansas Appleseed Legal Justice Center, an Arkansas nonprofit that exists to make Arkansas a better place to live and work.

Arkansas Appleseed is one of nineteen nonprofit centers in the USA and Mexico affiliated with the Appleseed Network. Through research, legal action, and policy change, Arkansas Appleseed works to protect freedom, opportunity, and justice in Arkansas. Appleseed's policy priorities include access to care, strengthening democracy in Arkansas, and economic advancement in impoverished regions of our state.

Bobby is originally from Mountain Home, Arkansas, and now calls Fayetteville home. He earned a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Arkansas and has managed nonprofit and political campaigns all over this part of the country. He approaches advocacy work as an educator and campaigner.
