Planning weddings isn’t something I fell into; it’s something I chose and keep choosing because it is truly magical.

Being a wedding planner means stepping into people’s lives during a really significant moment. It means holding the details, the emotions, the vision, and the logistics all at once. It’s not always glamorous, but it’s always meaningful.

I don’t take it for granted when couples trust me with something this important. Every wedding I plan is a reflection of that trust, and I put everything I have into making sure it feels aligned and intentional.

It’s a privilege to do this work, and I never lose sight of that.

Let’s remember that the right to marry hasn’t always been guaranteed—or equally protected—for everyone.

Even now, many disabled people in the U.S. face marriage penalties that can reduce or eliminate essential benefits like SSI or Medicaid. Some are forced to choose between getting married and keeping access to healthcare or in-home support.

Hi, I’m Jasmine—a wedding planner based in Northwest Arkansas. It’s been a while since I introduced myself, so here’s a little about me and what I do.

I specialize in planning unique, creative weddings that break the mold. I love working with couples who want their day to feel personal, intentional, and completely their own.

I studied Psychology at Hendrix College and earned my Master’s in Special Education with an emphasis in behavior analysis from the University of Arkansas. Before weddings, I worked in behavior analysis—but found my true joy in creative work and helping people celebrate meaningful milestones.

When I’m not deep in timelines or mood boards, you’ll usually find me thrifting vintage decor, watching Twin Peaks or RuPaul’s Drag Race, or hanging out with my partner, our three cats, and our very old (and very beloved) chihuahua. My go-to coffee order is an iced caramel macchiato or a lavender iced latte—depending on my mood.

I offer full-service wedding planning, wedding management, microwedding planning, and a few à la carte options for couples who need support in specific areas.

Here are a few ways you can tell if a wedding vendor is LGBTQ+ inclusive and gender affirming:

1. Check to see if they have their pronouns listed on their Instagram and/or in their email signature.

2. Evaluate what language they used. If they’re truly inclusive, they likely won’t use bride/groom language and instead will use “couple” or “nearlyweds”.

3. Check their Instagram bios! Often vendors will include a rainbow, rainbow flag, or “safe space” to signal that they’re inclusive.

4. Browse their Instagram feed. Do they have pictures of LGBTQ+ couples?

5. Hire an LGBTQ+ planner. This is where I come in! As your planner, I know which local vendors are LGBTQ+ accepting and, if I don’t, I’ll ask for you!
