U&I Youth Development Program Seeks Donations for. Annual Trunk or Treat:
The U&I Youth Development Program is now accepting donations for our Annual Trunk or Treat event, which will be held on October 28 from 6pm-8pm at 402 E Russell Street. We are also inviting individuals to participate in the event by decorating their trunks and bringing candy to hand out to children.
To take part in the event, please contact us at 910-364-4552 or through our U& I Youth Development Program’s messenger page on Facebook. All donations of candy or monetary contributions can be dropped off at 402 E Russell Street, 28301.
We would like to thank all of our supporters who have donated their time and energy to our program. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Boundaries 101:

This is crucial to ending the stigma around mental health in our community. Many of us need to seek therapy, but we won't go because we know folks in our family and friend circle will start whispering about whether "we crazy" or not.

So -- if you are that whispering family member or friend: stop it! Seeking therapy is the responsible thing to do when you finally admit that the problems you're dealing with are too much for you to handle.

If you are the person considering whether or not to go to therapy: GO!! Don't waste time on haters -- do this for you!!
