Today is the day! A lot of exciting things to reveal! First off thanks to everyone who has helped Dreamlab Production become what it is today. Today marks the beginning of a new journey for the company. Let us jump right into some of theawesome things coming.
The first thing is a new look. Today we bring Dreamlab Production to a modern professional look with a new logo design. I wanted to make sure that Dreamlab’s logo was a more suited for printing. The old logo was an amazing achievement on my end to make a “phoenix” fire star but it was more sentimental than practical. It just couldn’t be used real world. With the new logo will be much easier for me to use the logo marketing and anywhere I need it.
Next with the new logo comes a new redesigned website. I am scratching the old website to a new, modern, clean look. This new website will feature a lot of new content, with the big addition of videos. I have been leaking hints out about this for a few weeks. Videos are going to be a huge design and part of the new webpage. The videos are going to range from quick comparisons to videos with some of the industries best. With the all-new look we are going to also be making the page MUCH more mobile, IOS and Android, friendly. The original design was based around Adobe Flash; the new design will be HTLM 5, a much faster and mobile device friendly. Also with the new content will come more current project, the old website took for ever to update this new one will be much easier to add new content. Dreamlab has also looked into Twitter integration to the website to have a feed from the twitter where we will start putting updates and all sorts of things. Very vague, I know, but just follow to find out what will be posted.
The next most important news is Dreamlab Production has created a YouTube page (www.youtube.com/DLP1176)to start making gear reviews, tutorials, and post videos during projects. This has been an idea for over a year and a half now. I finally decided it was time to put the idea into action. First the gear will start with what Dreamlab Production has in studio, and see how this progresses. The mission with this is to put out quality reviews for one people who are looking into gear can see that data point I have one the gear as well as seeing what Dreamlab has to offer. The tutorials I want to do is to show people how to achieve certain things within their own studios, things when I was younger and learning would have died to know that it “was or was not” possible with my rig, or just things to know to make your life easier.
Now the most creative reveal today is Dreamlab Drums. Dreamlab Drums is a channel that is for our concept of Cinematic Drum covers. Cinematic Drum Covers? Yes, this concept is to take the standard 2-3 cameras drum cover and double the amount of cameras and use modern movies as our inspiration for the looks. Also we are using the Anamorphic Widescreen resolution to really sell the looks. Today you can go to www.youtube.com/DreamlabDrums and see three of the videos we have set for today’s launch! I have partnered up with Chris Mathis, my studio drummer to do these videos one to show off his talent of playing different styles of music and two as a platform to expose Dreamlab to people who would otherwise never know the name. The biggest goal/challenge we have set is for the next year, 52 weeks; we are going to post a video every Saturday with a new cover. Also we are still working on if the Drum tutorials we are working on are going to be on another channel or an addition to my DLP1176 Channel.
I look forward to seeing how this next year pans out. A lot of exciting things happening and great projects in the works! Thanks for your support!
This Channel will host all of Dreamlab Production's videos for the website, any gear or product reviews and any tutorials or comparison videos.
