Trent and Danielle had the most perfect fall wedding and I was so glad to be a part of it. So many more photos to come, including some of the most breathtaking florals by the always incredible ❤️

This month, WOW has it been busy! I’m grateful and thankful and tired! 😴 in the past 30 days I’ve shot over 14,000 photos across 19 sessions! For sure one of the busiest times I can remember. It feels good to be trusted by so many, and feel so satisfied with the hard work and beautiful images that were made. So *hopefully* I’ll be less of a social media ghost and start sharing all the beauty with ya’ll soon ❤️

One of the sweetest moments on Allie’s wedding day- her mom surprised her by having a piece of her wedding dress sewn into the bride’s gown. Such a sweet mother/daughter moment ❤️

One of the more important things to Allie on her wedding day was making sure all the unique details that she put so much thought into were documented. She used pieces of her family history to help create a feeling of deep roots and new beginnings in every aspect of their wedding day. Worn family recipe cards, generations of family wedding day photos and invitations all adorned the tables at the reception. It was a perfect way to honor their families and their history.

Liz and Colton made the trip from Washington DC to Springdale to be married at the gorgeous Sassafras Springs Vineyard. With Covid cases still strong in Arkansas, they made the tough choice to pare down their guest list to include only immediate family. Even still, it was a lovely evening to celebrate their love for each other. The chapel ruins at the vineyards were the perfect intimate backdrop for both their ceremony and reception, with dancing under the stars to follow.

So every summer, we flee the stifling heat of Arkansas, and spend a few of the most wonderful weeks lounging on the beach. And I finally know now how lucky I am to have this little beach town.

I met up with Kacey and Dave one perfect evening on the beach, with their son Walter. We laughed, played, splashed in the water, and made some really sweet photographs together."

It was an amazing summer, filled with weddings and family portrait sessions and lots of time on the beach. But now it’s back to full time work, scheduling and catching up on all the editing. It’s going to be a busy fall- my next weekend off is sometime around Christmas! 😊😊 Let’s do this 💯

This sweet couple is one of my absolute favorite wedding clients from many years ago, and Ive had the joy of watching, and photographing, this family turn from 2 cool people, to 3! It warmed my heart to spend this evening on the beach with them, playing with their sweet son, and making photos of this wonderful time in their lives. There is nothing like the joy and energy of a little boy!!

Wanted to let you guys know, I’ll be heading up to Michigan for the month of July (it’s way less hot there 🥵) and am also filling my calendar with family portrait sessions while I’m there. I normally make my summer MI trip all about relaxing, but I’m feeling so inspired lately, and love the thought of making some really sweet portraits on the beach! My favorite images are ones filled with emotion- when you can see personality and soul shine through. Luckily for me, wedding days are filled with all of this- and even though it can be hard to feel completely comfortable in front of a camera, it’s my job to find these moments that are uniquely you.
