Host~ Born in Naperville, Illinois and wreaking havoc ever since. Susan Bird is a stand up comic, writer and occasional contributor to society. Once described as “unoffendable but with offensive humor,” Susan Bird provides a unique comedy experience.
Local Spot~Andy Davis is a comic hailing from Gallup’s “8th Most Miserable City in America.” His fiancé has called him “the least interesting person I know,” and audiences have called his material “at times too highbrow to understand.” Andy is no stranger to laughing at himself and the situations he encountered growing up on the spectrum. He’s graced stages from clubs to breweries to theaters and festivals such as Blue Whale Comedy Festival, The Plano Comedy Festival, Tower City Comedy Festival and Backwoods at Mulberry Mountain; and on the rare occasion he has made money by performing at churches and corporate events. Andy has opened for Brian Regan, John Crist, Dusty Slay, Greg Warren and Jackie Kashian. He has been honored as the season champion of the Natural State Comedy Roast Battle League in addition to being nominated for Idle Class Magazine’s Black Apple Award for Best Comedian in Arkansas.
Feature~Nathan Brewer is a stand-up comedian by way of Dallas, TX. From college football and hunting, to the Marine Corps and pro wrestling. He does way too much not to talk about it.

Hosted~Matt Stanton is a nationally touring comic. He's credentials include being featured before “The Clean Guys of Comedy” movie in over 700 cinemas nationwide, nationally syndicated The Bob & Tom Show, as well as a variety of clubs and colleges.

Smith to Fayetteville and is now a regular host and performer at Club 509

Kyle Kordsmeier is just another recovering child jock superstar with a philosophy degree. He spent his 20’s traveling the world mostly working in kitchens and seeking enlightenment. Still hasn’t happened. The past 7 years he’s been talking about it at festivals and clubs around the US. Kyle has opened for better comics like Jordan Carlos and Roy Wood Jr.

Kyle Gilbert is a stand up comedian based out of Fort Smith but has performed all over the region! He’s told his jokes everywhere from dispensaries to the U.S. Marshals Museum. Onstage Kyle loves to talk about his delinquent brother, growing up in a village, and occasionally serial killers. He can be regularly seen at The Grove Comedy Club where he opened for comedy greats Christopher Titus, and Jay Pharoah.

It is with heavy hearts that we say our farewells to the one and only Ranaga Farbiarz.

Ranaga was a man of many talents, surprises, and ambitions that kept his ever changing world adventurous and full of life. Even in his older age he remained youthful with his vibrant energy. If Ranaga wasn’t extending a joke or a smile to the many amazing people he knew, he was working on yet another incredible hands-on-project. An avid member and pioneer of our community, he was always happiest when surrounded by artists, comedians, jugglers, friends, and family he had met through his work and supportive dedication to the diverse people Ranaga called home.

Ranaga had one day found himself calling the town of Eureka Springs home, and had been a beloved member of their arts scene and community for over thirty years until he met Loudy; never knowing they’d later build what came to be their real home with each other in Fayetteville; a community they suddenly realized they had always been looking for.
Fayetteville was introduced to Ranaga when he and Loudy began work at The Kava Bar in 2018, a few months before opening. Their love for each other and this community cultivated the foundation for their passion project. Ranaga and Loudy often referred to this little bar as their baby, and have nurtured it into the treasured business that it is. Now, six years later, their work has brought so many wonderful people and ideas together in one place to foster extraordinary memories which have been a wealth of art, laughter, and joy. He always referred to his employees as his tribe, and always led us with a big, eccentric heart. However, if you’re reading this-you’re part of that tribe as well.

Ranaga lived a life of love, intensity, and never-ending curiosity. He was a man of many hats: revered as the 2006 Guinness Book World Record holder for the world’s largest musically tuned wind chime, celebrated thirty year veteran with the renaissance faire circuit all throughout the country, rainstick enthusiast, Woodstock 1969 attendee, and, most importantly, partner, father, friend, and eternal jokester.

Ranaga’s legacy is one of endless determination, endurance, and a lust for life. He will live on through the kava bar and all of the people he touched with his creative and loving hands.

We will be hosting a celebration of life at The Kava Bar at Club 509 for Ranaga Farbiarz, with details to come.
