Excited to announce our newest intern Alexa Everett! Welcome to Bates Events!

Hi! My name is Alexa Everett and I am going into my junior year at the University of Arkansas studying hospitality management with a focus on event management. I was part of the Bates Ambassador program for two years and fell in love with putting on events. In January 2022, I am studying abroad for a semester in Florence, Italy and will attend Florence University of the Arts. I am very excited to be working so closely with Amy Bates and cannot wait to learn more about the industry!

Who doesn't love a cake that is as fabulous to look at as it is to eat? crafted the wedding cake of dreams and created the perfect table to display it. Guests couldn't take their eyes off this focal point.....until it was time to cut and eat !

Heroncrest was a dreamy location for the unique layout of the Staten wedding! White linens paired with the high end signature Heroncrest chairs provided the perfect canvas for to adorn the tables and hang arrangements with greenery and luscious floral. Having the lake in the background only enhanced the natural surroundings and begged guests to enjoy not only the indoors but outdoors as well.

It truly IS all in the details! From the clean lines of the paper goods from to the stunning square gold earrings, knew she wanted a crisp, neat look that mirrored her style. A white canvas touched by elements of sophisticated black echoed in the bridesmaids dresses and reception details. The intentional consistency was a dream for guests from invite to wedding day! The quote, "There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become family" is the best way to describe my relationship with . Having her as an intern, an employee and then continuing our relationship as colleagues and friends has been a great joy in my life. When she asked me to coordinate her wedding to , I gladly accepted through tears of absolute joy! Hayley's kind heart and sweet demeanor was in every detail of her wedding. Her ability to have fun yet posses grace and discernment made the process a dream. I am so honored to share images from Hayley+Roberts special day over the next few days.
