A new study presented at the annual scientific sessions of the American College of Cardiology in Atlanta reveals egg-cellent news for egg enthusiasts! ๐๐ฅ Turns out, consuming over a dozen enriched eggs a week doesn't affect cholesterol levels compared to an egg-free diet among adults aged 50 and older. ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ด
The study, involving 140 adults with heart disease or at least two heart disease risk factors, examined diets with fewer than two eggs per week versus diets with over 12 enriched eggs weekly. And guess what? ๐ฅ๐ No significant changes were found in "good" or "bad" cholesterol levels between the groups! ๐ซ๐

The love for lightly salted salmon ๐ has opened up for me since I have been on business trips to Finland, Estonia several times and traveled to Sweden โช.
In many stores they can cut off a piece of fresh fish for you in the evening, salt it in front of you, wrap it in a bag and so you have the freshest slice in the morning, which you can put on crispy fresh bread from the bakery around the corner. ๐ฅนIt's just a heavenly delight when an oily, slightly salty fish is also mixed with herbs and cream cheese... ๐คฏ I don't know who came up with the idea of โโspoiling it with smoking..., (most likely they are technologically trying to lengthen its life as a product), but buy here in stores you can only have this or salted with preservatives ...
We salt our salmon in the same way as my wife Ksyusha's Finnish grandmother did. Grandmother was sent with her parents to Siberiaโ๏ธ, at the beginning of the century. So this recipe came to us. I'll tell you a secret that such a delicate, oily and bright taste of salmon does not last long, only the first 20-30 hours after salting. ๐จ๐ปโ๐ณ We salt it ourselves almost every day and in small portions (therefore, I apologize if you came and it is not there).
We are waiting for you daily from 7 to 2 p.m. for a Finnish breakfast or lunch :) if you are a connoisseur of fresh fish!
On weekends we are happy to see you from 9 to 1 p.m.
