We are less than a week away from Pattison’s Holiday food drive and I am pleased to report we have raised enough for 40 meals! Provisions for the meals are being purchased now (refrigerated, of course) and we’ll be passing the meal kits out on Sunday. Anyone in need of a little extra help this holiday season is welcome to swing by Pattison’s Sunday AM between 9 and 11 for a Christmas ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and dinner rolls. These precooked, easy to prepare meals will be handed out on a first come, first serve basis.

Happy Thanks + Giving, everyone! A small group of friends and family will be passing out holiday food kits next month at Pattison's West. Our goal is to assemble and distribute 100 food kits, large enough for a family of 4, a few days before Christmas. To our beloved skating community,

As some of you may have already heard, the skating rink property is listed for sale. It was not made public or published because a firm decision or commitment has not been made. We received an offer during the business closure, along with many offers over the last few years for the property. With Mike and Kay Pattison nearing retirement they have opened the window of consideration of exploring their options regarding their future and the business. Selling the rink and the property is part of that exploration process. We want to be clear that there has been no sale or agreement made at this time.

If there does come an offer that is accepted, it won't come without heavy hearts. We value the relationships our Family has made over 5 decades at this location. The business of skating is engrained into four generations of our Families’s blood. Its almost as if it's all we know, however it does not define who we are. So many speed, artistic, recreational and now rhythm skaters have blessed us with their loyalty and passion for skating and will never be forgotten. Some people have even had their own birthdays at one of our rinks and now they attend their grand children's birthday party. We are so thankful to be able to serve our community and to offer a safe haven for families to have a healthy and fun experience, and we will continue to do just that in the meantime. We will definitely inform you all if there is a decision to move on from our passion of owning an operating our rink.
