Fresh Soups at Slagle's Family Farm! Come on out to F***h Saturday and don’t forget your order pies for Thanksgiving!

Soup Making Day in the kitchen. We cooked down 5 nescos of chickens and turkeys for 24hrs to make bone broth. Now today, utilizing mostly our produce preserved from the field, we made Creamy Broccoli-cauliflower-chicken, chicken and wild rice, turkey noodle, and creamy white turkey chili. They will be froze and made available in 2 cup containers starting when we are open Saturday 10-3cdt. After Thanksgiving we will be making more varieties of soups. Still taking orders for Thanksgiving Pies and Buckeyes.

The garden is ready to sleep for a while! Raised beds are full and ready to plant ranunculus and anemones in April. Tulips are planted for sale at pop-ups around Mothers Day. I still have bouquets for sale at the hospital made from locally sourced flowers. Thank you to all my farm market customers for a fun year, miss our Saturdays and your smiling faces. Hospital cooler re-stocked this afternoon! These are the last of the flowers from the farm till tulips come again in the spring! I will continue to stock the cooler weekly with locally purchased flowers I arrange.
