Barnstar events Barnstar is now making appointments for viewing! Barnstar Events is located in Ferndale Washington. 120 acres of private pastoral beauty. It even has a 70sq.ft.

It features an enormous historical hay barn with 45' tall ceilings. Very regal in its beauty,more cathedral than barn. wooden dance floor! It is incredible for beautiful country weddings,special social gatherings or music events-the acoustics are amazing!

Yesterday I posted a pic of these faux flowers. I thought I would show a pic of what they look like in their Incredible vintage birdcage. A purchase I knew I didn't exactly need, but it was love at first sight. I also want to talk about the candles in the photo. They are wax cylinders with a battery insert. A functional substitute for real candles that we cannot allow in our 100 year old barn. The best thing about them is you just click the top and they turn on, plus the batteries last forever!

Must be off season as I'm knees down in a project. I am not a fan of bushes right next to a house so I pulled out the ones I planted 16 years ago and am laying concrete tiles. The reason I don't like bushes right next to the house especially where there's a walkway is because they're always overgrowing the walkway and you have to prune constantly! In my dreamworld of house design, there would be doors outside in almost every room and outside the doors would be at least 20 feet of stonework all around the house. Then you could really live indoor outdoor easily.

I found the screen on the wall last spring on Facebook marketplace. I didn't know why I wanted it or where I wanted to put it, but I just knew that I loved it. You can't tell from this photo but all the middle squares have mirror. The other day as I tripped over it in my bedroom for the hundredth time because I thought I might put it in there. I had the flash that it would look so amazing on this door in the barn and voilà, it has really elevated the look of this formerly slightly boring wall. I'm so happy about it! Thank you Keith for the install!!!

I walked our garden with my bride Laura last night and this gorgeous array is what we came up with. All going into bud vases. Can't wait to see them on the tables! I'm so in love with all our flowers! When you choose us @barnstarflorals for flowers you get the freshest blooms!
