We are excited to announce that we brought home three wins from the Minnesota Federation of County Fairs (MFCF) Convention photo contest! Out of the 9 photos we submitted, we won in these categories:
Kids at the Fair
Something New at the 2024 Fair
Minnesota Legacy Grant
A huge thank you to Monica Wenschlag and Linda Widrig for capturing these amazing award-winning moments that beautifully represent the spirit of our fair! We couldn't be prouder of our community and can't wait to make even more memories this year. Thanks to everyone who supports and loves the Polk County Fair- it wouldn't be the same without you!

It's January, it's cold and its's time for the Minnesota Federation of County Fairs Convention (MFCF). Board members will travel to Bloomington, MN to network with other county fairs in the state. There will be education, information, entertainment and all things fair. Planning is well underway for the 2025 fair, July 9-13.

The barn at Polk County Fairgrounds was the noon stop for the MN Hereford Assn fall tour. They enjoyed viewing Hereford cattle from ranches in the NW part of Minnesota.

Polk County was proud to have two of their talent contests winners participate at the MN State Fair talent contest. Eberley in the pre-teen division and Sandhill Harmony in the open. They did a great job representing our county.

The 123rd Polk County Fair is now history. Thanks to all who supported us, the Fertile community, our many sponsors, and all who attended. Without you, we could not have such a great fair. Thanks for the memories and see you next year, July 9-13, 2025.
