Poppy Seed made it through the night and ate her breakfast which is a win we can celebrate!
However, she is in critical condition. She is very anemic from so much blood loss and will actually receive a blood transfusion later today. Her white blood cell count is very high as well. She's napping after breakfast and we have her on a lot of pain meds, so she is resting 🩷. She did stand up earlier but too weak to walk. We are so happy she has function in her legs, even with all that damage. We'll keep you updated throughout the day and hope the blood transfusion will help her.
